Throughout a dominant display, England wrapped up a further win against their opponents, with several squad members producing notable performances during the match.

Starting Lineup

Dean Henderson Not a save to perform during the opening 45 before tested by Arbër Hoxha’s curled attempt. A sliding intervention against an Albanian attacker showed excellent reading of the game. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Tested by the opposition's primary attacker in Hoxha. Operated through the middle initially then shifted to the flank once a teammate entered the fray. 7/10

John Stones Advanced up the pitch with the ball at his feet, as he has done previously. On occasion seemed hesitant when carrying play with the tactic abandoned by the interval. Six

Dan Burn A nuisance from dead balls, per usual, could serve as another option to Stones in the backline as opposed to alongside him. A loose distribution later in the match came close to a goal for the visitors. Six

Nico O’Reilly Another assured performance by the rising star following his initial appearance against another side. Saka was unable to take the opportunity from a clever touch over the Albania defence. The left-back spot is his to lose already. Seven

The newcomer A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly sloppy in possession however his inswinging set-pieces were a threat. A useful pace-controller available to the manager to call upon versus teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed challenge. 6

The midfielder Crosses from corners and set-plays were dangerous. Had license to drift in left midfield yet found himself in an offside position upon receiving with a chance to score. Given a merited break after an hour. 6

Jude Bellingham Functioned in an advanced role down the right while also put in dirty work. Showed flashes of quality and mishit an attempt high. Withdrawn in the closing stages by Rogers, his competition, following a yellow card. 7/10

The winger Had England’s top opening of the first half, his strike smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. With Quansah hanging back, he had to stretch the play on the right yet his deliveries from the touchline were inconsistent. Taken off with 15 to go. 6

Harry Kane The decisive figure netting 77th and 78th strikes in an England shirt. The first a trademark poacher’s finish while the second a superb headed goal after peeling away from his marker. Aged 32, he continues to improve and England are strong contenders in future competitions with him leading the line. 8

The attacker Found it tough to get into the game from the left. Had a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham but the keeper kept it out. His replacement produced a bigger effect in his place. 5/10

• Foden (for a teammate 63) Looked lively connecting seamlessly with Kane in a natural spot, 6/10
• Saka (on for the winger 63) Missed opportunities but his corner led to the first goal, 6/10
• Rashford (for Bowen 75) Active after coming on and set up Kane’s second with superb cross to the far post, 7/10
• Anderson (for Wharton in the 75th minute) Seems settled already, 6/10
