Shock as Popular South African DJ Killed in the Heart of Johannesburg.
A renowned South African media personality and entertainer has been fatally gunned down in the country's largest city Johannesburg, causing national outrage across a country struggling with persistent crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the central business district on the afternoon of Tuesday.
Officials stated the forty-year-old entertainer was approached by a trio of assailants, with one began shooting at him before running away.

Law enforcement said that Stock was targeted as he was leaving a premises near the Carlton Centre.

Surveillance tape reportedly captured a suspect with dreadlocks and dressed in what looked like a guard's attire opening fire on Stock before fleeing.
The DJ tried to run away after he was wounded but fell down on the opposite side of the road.
Police added that Stock had an weapon on his person and nothing was taken during the assault.
