19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been won on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden trophy for 882 days with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has endured a difficult period, achieving just one match at the big events and experiencing a setback at the New York tournament.
The player's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serve in specific - led to him falling of the elite rankings and eventually separating with former mentor his previous coach.
Now working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently improved in the past month - climaxing in a hard-fought three-set victory over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is the player's initial title since the Italian tournament and maiden on a hard court since that period of 2023.
Victory also indicates Medvedev has won 21 victories at 21 different competitions.
"For the first time I have attended a tournament with my both daughters simultaneously, so to get a championship is particularly special," stated tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my older daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had failed in his last six title deciders, comprising in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive strategy and regular outbursts on the playing surface had caused some to wonder if his skill to compete at the elite level was over.
But the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, attempting to approach the net and play aggressively, backed up by an improved serve.
Medvedev recovered from a disadvantage in the first set against the challenging opponent, securing 4 of the concluding five games to gain the advantage.
The competitors traded break points in the second set before the challenger, attempting for his initial ATP Tour championship, took control to force a decider.
The opponent saved 4 initial opportunities in a competitive final set before the Russian broke to that score to secure the win.
Suitably, Medvedev earned the title with a rally at the front of the court, with his opponent incapable to manage a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
